Our client is looking for a skilled and proactive IT Technician to join a dynamic team. In this role, you will provide technical support to staff, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and ensure the efficient operation of our IT systems. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of computer hardware, networking, and operating systems, coupled with strong problem-solving abilities and excellent customer service skills. Key Responsibilities

• Provide first-line troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
• Create and maintain clear documentation to assist with resolving complex cases in collaboration with the Senior IT Technician.
• Manage and maintain the online ticketing system, ensuring timely updates and resolution tracking for common issues.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for bespoke software issues, ensuring timely resolution or escalation to minimize business impact.
• Monitor and maintain the effective performance of software systems, escalating critical issues when necessary.
• Develop and maintain user support documentation, updating as systems evolve or new processes are implemented.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience in an IT support role or similar position.
• Strong understanding of computer hardware components and troubleshooting methodologies.
• Ability to create, maintain, and improve technical documentation.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate complex technical information clearly to non-technical users.
• Proficiency in providing technical support for Windows operating systems, MS Office, and IT ticketing systems.
• Strong ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Relevant IT certifications are highly desirable.
