Job Title: IT Support Engineer / Service Desk Support Engineer (2nd & 3rd Line)

Overview
We are seeking a proactive IT Support Engineer to join our growing team. This role requires a problem-solver who can identify and resolve technical issues efficiently, take ownership of IT support within the business, and contribute to the stability and robustness of our IT solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide 2nd and 3rd line IT support across multiple client sites, ensuring timely issue resolution.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Work within SLA agreements, delivering consistent and professional support.
  • Support and maintain systems such as Windows Server, Active Directory, and Office 365.
  • Provide remote and on-site support to multi-site clients.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot network devices, including firewalls and Cisco tools.
  • Support virtualization platforms like Citrix and Hyper-V.
  • Offer technical support for handheld devices, servers, and exchange environments.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and clients to ensure IT solutions meet business requirements.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Solid experience as an IT Support Engineer, particularly in an MSP (Managed Service Provider) environment.
  • Proven experience providing 2nd and 3rd Line support.
  • Experience working with multi-site clients and within SLA frameworks.

Technical Skills

  • Office 365 / O365
  • Windows Server and Active Directory (AD)
  • MS Exchange
  • Citrix and Hyper-V
  • Network troubleshooting, including firewalls and Cisco networking tools
  • Support for handheld devices and endpoint solutions

Desirable Skills & Certifications

  • Microsoft certifications (e.g., MCSA, MCSE)
  • VMware or other virtualization technologies
  • Comprehensive experience in network support and troubleshooting
