Role Title: Technical Architect
Rate: £500 per day
Location: Fully remote (occasional travel for planning days with expenses reimbursed).

Role Purpose
As a Senior Solution Architect, you will collaborate with engineering teams to design, develop, deliver, and maintain IT products and services. You’ll create solutions that meet current business needs while aligning with future-state architecture, enabling scalable patterns and designs that extend beyond specific programmes.
Key Responsibilities
- Design systems with medium levels of risk, impact, and complexity. Select and apply appropriate design standards, methods, and tools effectively.
- Review and validate system designs to ensure efficient resource use and system integration.
- Engage and challenge senior stakeholders to prioritise and overcome constraints, adapting approaches as needed.
- Develop technical solutions that span multiple business areas or large, complex services, drawing common links between problems.
- Act as a communication bridge between technical and business stakeholders, providing proactive and reactive communication.
- Lead and support the technical design of products or shared platforms, ensuring alignment with user needs and business objectives.

- Knowledgeable in Agile/DevOps practices, CI/CD delivery tools, and API-led integration design.
- Expertise in software, application, and data architecture, including cloud infrastructure frameworks and best practices.
- Skilled in creating and hosting prototypes using a variety of methods.
